I’m an Associate Professor of finance at the University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, IUT A – Department of Business Management and Administration. I got a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Montpellier, France. Through my research, teaching, and involvment in collective actions, I aim to contribute to shaping a more sustainable and ethical financial system that helps achieve the SDGs. I'm particularly interested in the Islamic finance and banking field of research, but also open to new opportunities and interdisciplinary research. I have developed interesting networks and scientific collaborations. I was visiting researcher at the Durham University Business School (UK) in 2016 and at the Zitouna University (Tunisia) in 2019, where I co-chaired the first edition of the Tunisia International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance. I actively contribute to serve the scientific community through my involvment as chair, co-chair or member of scientific/organizing committees of international meetings. I am also the co-founder of the Tunisia International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance. In 2022, I received the “British Accounting Review Female Research Excellence” award at the African Accounting and Finance Association Conference in Cairo. I’m currently the co-head of studies for the professional bachelor’s degree in commercial and financial risk management in non-financial organizations. My teaching experience focused on modules on corporate finance, market finance, and Islamic banking and finance ( for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees).
